During the two hours of this day our group (Me, Bahno, Gift and Daniel) came up with an individual idea, which we needed to project to the group. Once we had thought, developed and written our individual ideas we pitched it to our group and then pitched it to the class.

We expanded the idea we were going to continue with, which was Daniel’s idea and used elements from ideas of other group members. Once we decided our product we pitched this idea to the class and received their feedback from them. After their feedback we made an adjustment to the name of our product.

On this day, our group sat together to discuss the information for our synopsis.

On this afternoon I created questionnaires for research for a pilot survey of class. Gift and Bahno helped distribute these questionnaires as well as collect them. During this afternoon we started grouping the information into Microsoft Excel. I then went home to produce the research report and analysed the findings from our questionnaire.
21st March 2013
On this day as a group we negotiated on the cost of the drink sizes, the flavours we were going to advertise, the channel which we were going to advertise on and also the time of the our advert would be shown.
25th March 2013
We began looking at font styles and various types of energy drink logos so that we could create a logo for our energy drink too. We did this so that our drink logo looked near professional standards. After creating two designs we finalised the designs, which we were going to carry forward.

On this day we began to film our advert sequence on the Astro Turf as the weather was good and our actors had their kits. After the set up and filming we transferred all the footage from the SD card to the Mac computer. I took a look at the videos we took just in case we needed to re-film any particular scene.
25th April 2013
During this session Bahno and me tried to complete any outstanding paperwork, splitting the outstanding work between the two of us so that it would be easier to complete. I completed the actor profiles, diary log, budget plan, risk assessment, synopsis (as a group) and the audience research till date. Whereas Bahno completed the treatment (with Gift), prop list, locations, storyboard and the casting photographs.
29th April 2013
On this Monday, me, Bahno and Gift produced a new design for our energy drink because we were not able to find the logo that Daniel had saved in his area and as he was not present this day we could not locate it. Hence instead of wasting time, we created a new and better design for our drink, printed it and stuck it to our bottle. After this, Bahno and me completed any other outstanding paperwork left for this unit.
2nd May 2013
On this day, we filmed the remainder of our sequence for our advert. However, when we went to record we realised that Daniel had changed his shirt to black and on the previous shoot he wore navy blue hence we recorded the sequences for our TV advert from the beginning again.

On this day me and Gift started to edit the footage we already had and realised that we had to reshoot a certain scene because the actors positions were incorrect and they had swapped sides during the filming process. However we edited the scenes we could so that when we had recorded the new scene we could easily edit it and insert it into the timeline.

During this day I updated my work in Microsoft Word. I asked Bahno to send the tasks she had done so that I could include it in my blogger, as she was not present this day.

Today we started our editing process.
20th May 2013
During this session we had to begin our editing again as we changed rooms and the work we had done previously was unable to open up on a Mac in another room. We came to a near finishing point for this TV advert.

A change of room caused an inconvenience, as we were unable to finish off the editing hence we completed the shooting schedule and any remainder paperwork.
