LO3: Shooting Schedule

Scene	Description
1	Scene 1 – Daniel and gift preparing to take the race (Includes them drinking the water or ZEUS Sport)
2	Scene 2 – The two actors will be running and one will overcome the other.  This will be Daniel who drank the Zeus Sport energy Drink.
3	Scene 3 – Is their reactions to how they respond in either winning or losing.
4	Scene 4 - The product on a white background being brought forward as it slides across the table by as someone pushes it.

2/05/2013	1,2,3 & 4	We re-filmed scene of our advert as Daniel changed his costume (Shirt from back to blue) We also adjusted our logo so we reshot the advert scenes.   On this day we also recorded our final scene this being Number 4 which is just the product on a white background being brought forward as it slides across the table by someone moving it. LO3: Casting Photographs & Justifications

For our production in the TV advertising we only required two characters this being one individual whom simple drinks water and the other who drinks Zeus Sports. 

We did auditions to see whom we should take on board for our production, we started with character one who simple drinks water. We auditioned the following individuals:

Gift

Shoaib lacked on his acting skills and did not have a great knowledge on sport. The second individual in the interview was good as an overall rating.

From the two individuals we interviewed, we decided to opt for Gift this being that he fit in well with our production and also he had great acting skills. A good advantage is selecting Gift is that  it is very easy to use him as he was a part of our group, therefore making it easier to find him and insure that he is there for the recording needed. This helped insure that problems and constraints were limited in the group in terms of the recording required.

For our second individual within our recording we had the following individuals audition:

Shoaib

Daniel was the first individual we auditioned, looking at this audition we were able to see that he was a great candidate for our production. He had good knowledge in sports and also was very good at acting. He placed himself as a good candidate to select from within our production. 

The other actor was not very good as they lacked in their acting skills once again, looking at the two options available for the position we decided that we would opt for Daniel as he was more suited but also as he was in our group therefore making it easier to get in contact with him.

These are the still photos that we took while we were our during filming for our TV advert:

 

I was recording for the beginning of our advertisment this being the product itself and its introduction. Bahno was recording the product that we made on a wide table against a white background. These roles were shared between us as a group including Daniel as well to insure that the recording was at a good standard. The third and fourth pictures are of Gift and Daniel recording one another while we were on the astro turf recording. At this stage me and Bahno were directing the actors. 

 

 

 

LO2: Actor Profiles

GIFT MUSA Profile

For our advert we needed to hire two professional looking footballers to take part in a series of drills and runs and to promote our energy drink. Hence we decided to choose Gift Musa to act as one of the two professional footballers for our advert.

Name:  GIFT MUSA

Role:  Football/Sportsman

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Information:  GIFT MUSA is to act the role of a professional footballer during training sessions. For this Gift will need to be able to dribble the ball around the cones well, be able to sprint as well as do many other training drills for our advert. We have chosen Gift because he has background knowledge on sport as he is doing BTEC Sports at Level 3. We believe that Gift is a suitable character for this role because he will be able to complete the drills in a professional manner hence making the advert look professional also.

DANIEL AZHAR Profile

We have chosen Daniel because he has background knowledge on sport and performing Arts. Daniel is currently doing Performing Arts at Level 3 and is part of a football club outside of school hours. As Daniel does Performing Arts he will be able to act in a proper professional manner during the shoot.
